IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER

MedicaidBench is a regulatory research platform — not a legal service. Data is sourced from official state boards, DEA, and CMS, and updated as rules change. For compliance decisions with regulatory consequences, confirm requirements directly with your state board.

Disclaimer

Research platform, not legal advice

MedicaidBench provides access to publicly available Medicaid fee schedule data for informational and research purposes only. Nothing on this platform constitutes legal advice, compliance guidance, regulatory opinion, or a guarantee of regulatory accuracy. Use of MedicaidBench does not create an attorney-client or consultant-client relationship of any kind.

Data sources

All rate data is sourced directly from official state Medicaid fee schedules, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). We update data as official sources publish changes. There may be a lag between a state's publication date and our ingestion date, and occasional discrepancies may exist between our database and the authoritative source.

Data accuracy and our verification process

Every rate on MedicaidBench is sourced directly from official state fee schedules, CMS, and DEA publications — never third-party aggregators — and we monitor those sources continuously so the data reflects what's actually been published, with the source document and snapshot date attached to every figure. Fee schedules and program rules do change frequently and vary by state, managed care organization, and population served, which is exactly why we built continuous monitoring rather than a static database. That said, as with any third-party data source, MedicaidBench does not provide warranties of completeness or accuracy, express or implied — for any decision with regulatory consequences, confirm directly with the relevant state Medicaid agency (see below).

MCO and managed care contracts

Data on MedicaidBench reflects published fee-for-service (FFS) benchmark rates. Managed care organization (MCO) contract rates are separately negotiated and are not reflected on this platform. FFS benchmarks may not reflect actual reimbursement under MCO contracts.

Confirm with your state board

Every rate on MedicaidBench links back to its official source document, so you can go straight to the authority yourself in seconds. For decisions that carry real regulatory weight — billing, contracting, rate setting, program participation — we recommend confirming with the relevant state Medicaid agency, your legal counsel, or a qualified compliance professional before acting.

Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of MedicaidBench ("the Service"), operated by MedicaidBench, Inc. ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using MedicaidBench, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Use of the Service

MedicaidBench grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for your internal business purposes, subject to these Terms. You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute data obtained from MedicaidBench without our express written consent.

2. Account registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at security@medicaidbench.com of any unauthorized use.

You may also create or sign in to your account using Google Sign-In. Doing so authorizes Google to share your basic profile information (name, email address, and profile picture) with us solely to create and authenticate your MedicaidBench account — we do not receive your Google password or access any other part of your Google account. Your use of Google Sign-In is also subject to Google's own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. You can revoke MedicaidBench's access at any time from your Google Account permissions page; doing so will require you to sign in another way (e.g. email and password) to continue using the Service.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (b) scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data beyond your plan's API limits; (c) reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service; (d) resell or redistribute data without authorization; or (e) use the Service to provide competing services.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law. New accounts receive full Org-tier access free for 14 days with no credit card required; if you do not subscribe before the trial ends, your account automatically reverts to the Free plan and you will not be charged. You may cancel a paid subscription at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

5. Intellectual property

The Service, including all software, data compilations, design, and content, is owned by MedicaidBench, Inc. and protected by intellectual property laws. Underlying government-sourced rate data is in the public domain; our compilation, normalization, and presentation constitutes original work.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MedicaidBench, Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to reliance on rate data for compliance or billing decisions. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration under the AAA Commercial Arbitration Rules, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
